Lettuce Wrapped Sliders and Fries
Serves 2
Ingredients
2 cups of your choice of Root Vegetables. ( I used Parsnips, Sweet Potato, and Carrot)
1 Tablespoon Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1.5 tsp Salt
16 oz Ground Beef
1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp paprika
1 Garlic Clove, minced
Butter Lettuce Leaves
1 beefsteak tomato, sliced
Directions
Preheat oven to 450ºF.
Toss the root vegetables with the oil and 0.5 tsp of salt. Spread them on a baking sheet and roast for 40 minutes.
In another bowl, mix the beef, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, salt, paprika, and cumin. Mold into eight patties.
In a large skillet, cook the patties over medium heat.
Use the butter lettuce to wrap the sliders and tomato. Top with your choice of condiments, and serve with the fries.
