Lettuce Wrapped Sliders and Fries

Serves 2

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of your choice of Root Vegetables. ( I used Parsnips, Sweet Potato, and Carrot)

  • 1 Tablespoon Extra Virgin Olive Oil

  • 1.5 tsp Salt

  • 16 oz Ground Beef

  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce

  • 1 tsp cumin

  • 1 tsp paprika

  • 1 Garlic Clove, minced

  • Butter Lettuce Leaves

  • 1 beefsteak tomato, sliced

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 450ºF.

  2. Toss the root vegetables with the oil and 0.5 tsp of salt. Spread them on a baking sheet and roast for 40 minutes.

  3. In another bowl, mix the beef, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, salt, paprika, and cumin. Mold into eight patties.

  4. In a large skillet, cook the patties over medium heat.

  5. Use the butter lettuce to wrap the sliders and tomato. Top with your choice of condiments, and serve with the fries.
